Process Automation Engineer

Engineering Full-time Remote

Join our team to design and implement AI automation strategies that transform how businesses operate. You'll work directly with customers to understand their workflows, then collaborate with our product and technology teams to build custom solutions that deliver real impact.

Responsibilities:

  • Work with customers to design and implement AI automation strategies
  • Collaborate with product and technology teams to release custom software and workflows
  • Strengthen our internal systems and white label products
  • Document requirements and translate business processes into technical specifications
  • Test and validate automation workflows in sandboxed environments

Profile & Requirements:

  • Systems thinking and strong requirements documentation skills
  • Comfort translating business processes into technical workflows
  • Experience with APIs, integrations, and automation tooling
  • Robust software testing and sandboxing experience
  • Strong communication skills for client-facing work

Nice to have:

  • Experience with hardware programming and interfaces
  • Background in RPA (Robotic Process Automation)
  • Familiarity with Python, Node.js, or similar scripting languages
  • Experience with workflow orchestration platforms (n8n, Zapier, Make, etc.)

Account Executive

Sales Commission Remote, Flexible Hours

Open positions for both new and experienced sales professionals. Drive growth by developing new client relationships and closing business with Shortwork's existing corporate relationships. As you prove your ability, you'll manage the full sales cycle from discovery through close.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop new client relationships across target industries
  • Help close business with Shortwork's existing corporate relationships when appropriate
  • Manage pipeline, discovery calls, and proposals
  • Own the full sales cycle through close once experience has been proven
  • Understand client automation needs and position Shortwork solutions effectively
  • Collaborate with the engineering team to ensure smooth client onboarding

Ideal Candidate:

  • Self-motivated with strong organizational and communication skills
  • Comfortable in consultative, relationship-driven sales
  • Able to understand and articulate technical solutions to business problems
  • Experience with B2B SaaS, automation, or AI solutions (preferred but not required for motivated entry-level candidates)
  • Track record of meeting or exceeding quotas (for experienced hires)
